I’m tired of this life. Chi is always slapping me. She snaps at me and is always hitting me. I can never do anything right. She throws anything she can lay her hands on at me. Yesterday, she threw the decoder at me.
Immediately, the laughter stopped and an uncomfortable silence took over. Then we all found our voices again and became unpaid advisors.
“Are you not the man? Handle your home, my friend.”
“Don’t eat her food again. She would calm down.”
I looked at him and simply said “Your wife is a lunatic. Her anger issues didn’t start today. You better leave before she breaks your head”.
Anyway, he didn’t listen. Two weeks after, he called from the hospital, he was getting stitched. She had stabbed him in the arm with a broken bottle. She actually broke a bottle. She smashed a bottle like a mushin tout and attacked him. Surreal.

They are still married till today. He’s still a pussy ass and she’s still a tiger. One day, one day, water go pass garri.
This notion that a man must have pushed a woman to do this and do that isn’t always true. Some people are simply crazy.
I have seen a woman take off her shoes and use it to beat her husband to pieces. The man kept dodging and saying “Stop it. Stop it”. She jacked him like a rag doll. I was stunned. It turned out that she was upset because he didn’t do something she asked him to do. I was freaking stunned.
If you are with an abusive woman, you better get off that “A real man does this and that” train and report her to the authorities then STAY AWAY from such a woman. STAY the hell AWAY.
Because in this Nigeria, when she stabs you in your sleep, people will start asking what you did that pushed her to stab you.
They will conveniently forget that a man can also be abused..
