Record-breaking ex-Super Falcons player dies aged 33

Former Super Falcons player Ajuma Ameh-Otache has died from a rare muscular disease.
Ajuma was part of the victorous female team that won the Cup of Nations in 2004.
She died on Saturday aged 33.
“We are said to hear of the sudden passing of former Nigerian midfielder, African Women’s Championship winner, Olympian,” the NFF said in a statement announcing Ajuma’s death.
The former international, who had made history as the first female manager to lead a male team to promotion, left behind a husband, Peter, and three children.
