OAU sacks professor demanding for sex to upgrade student’s score
Professor Richard Akindele, the Obafemi Awolowo University lecturer who demanded for sex from one of his students in return for marks, has been sacked.
The development was made known by the university’s Vice Chancellor, Eyitope Ogunbodede, Wednesday afternoon.
Ogunbodede said Akindele was sacked after the university’s Governing Council “found him guilty of all the charges against him.”
Akindele had been caught on record asking his student for five rounds of sex to upgrade her marks.
