Kogi court grants Dino Melaye N10m bail on health grounds
Embattled Senator Dino Melaye has been granted bail by a Lokoja High Court on Thursday (today).
Melaye, absent from court as he continues to receive treatment at an Abuja hospital, has been ordered to pay a sum of N10million.
The Senator is facing charges for allegedly arming political thugs in Kogi.
The Chief judge, Justice Nasir Ajanah said that there was nothing to prove that Melaye would jump bail.
Melaye was also ordered to provide a surety in like sum.
