JUST IN: ASUU suspends nationwide strike

Details of the agreement later.

ASUU has suspended its strike following a meeting with FG representatives led by Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige on Thursday.

The union’s national President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, made the announcement Thursday night.

Students across state and federal universities have spent three months at home since the strike began last November.

Academic activities will resume immediately.
