Chelsea FC have confirmed that Dutch coach Guus Hiddink will be managing the first team until the end of the current season.
Hiddink’s interim appointment follows the sacking of former coach, Jose Mourinho, whom Chelsea promised to “always love.”
As interim manager, Hiddink led Chelsea to FA Cup final victory over Everton FC in 2009.

He’s coached notable teams including Real Madrid, PSV, the Netherlands and Russia.
Chelsea responded to Hiddink’s appointment by beating fellow strugglers Southampton 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Hiddink was not in charge of the game. He watched from the stands. So did Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
