Augustine Azuka Okocha popularly known as Jay Jay Okocha, is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. For many, Jay Jay Okocha has been an inspiration and career propeller.
Long before he had access to a football, he used to practice with anything and everything. I mean it was amazing!”. His drive and determination at a young age would later earn him international recognition in his field.
Speaking on how his love for the game led him into playing as a profession in a recently published book, Success Is Not Served A La Carte, he said, ‘Football gave me a foundation to build on. Fine, I used to think it was just a game, but later, it became my profession’.
