Chibok: 14 die in market blasts as Boko Haram female bombers return
No less than 14 people were killed after two suicide bombers descended on a market in Chibok, on Wednesday.
At least 24 other people were reported injured.
The blasts occurred at about 1:00 p.m. when two female bombers detonated their explosives.
The attack occurred in Chibok, Borno State, the same place from which Boko Haram kidnapped over 200 Nigerian girls in 2014.
President Muhammadu Buhari says he has no cogent intelligence on whether or not the schoolgirls are alive.

The latest Chibok attack trails Buhari’s claim to have “technically” defeated Boko Haram terrorists on whom the bombings are most likely to be blamed.
Information and culture minister Lai Mohammed had warned Boko Haram could continue attacking soft targets like religious centers and markets.
Nigerians won’t be surprised if the government restate the same rhetoric.

It so disheartening hearing that Chibok, a community yet to recover from the abduction of school girls is again a victim of suicide bombers.

The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group have told Buhari to not declare victory over Boko Haram the Chibok girls are rescued.
Boko Haram terrorists have being held responsible for the death of at least 20,000 Nigerians killed in various attacks since 2009.
The group has also displaced over two million Nigerians, more than half of them being women and children.
The Nigerian Army have retaken vast northeast territories the terrorists seized in the past.
