Bill Gates Schedules Nigeria Visit To Remedy Economy, Other Issues
Co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has lined up a visit to Nigeria this week, Neusroom gather.
The American businessman aims to arrive the West African country on Tuesday to meet with top Nigerian government officials to seek remedies for the economy, agriculture and other key sectors.
News of the American’s visit was disclosed in a statement released by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Abuja, Nigeria.
Other key issues to be discussed on are, nutrition in Africa, high poverty rate and health care.

The statement goes further to disclose that Gates will be arriving with other leaders of the foundation.
Together, they will partake in a pan-African virtual dialogue aimed at proffering solutions to the aforementions areas.
According to the statement, Jon Batiste, a Musician and Humanitarian, will, also, join Gates for this discussion.
The statement pointed out that, in an effort to develop and implement strategies to address hunger, disease, gender inequality, and poverty, the foundation has pledged over $7 billion through 2026 to aid African countries and institutions.
