Amaju Pinnick appointed as CAF Vice President
July 5, 2018
Embattled Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick has been appointed as the first Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Pinnick’s appointment was confirmed on Thursday, days after he was ordered by the Supreme Court to comply with a lower court’s order that he should step down as NFF president.
He replaces Kwesi Nyatakyi, the Ghanaian who stepped down from the position following his involvement in a whirlwind of shady deals, with immediate effect.
