Without admitting 2016 prophecy failures, Adeboye releases 2017 predictions

As far as 2016 is concerned, you wouldn’t be able to take Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s words to the bank.

Last January, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) general overseer predicted a major war would be averted. Although there has been tension on the international stage, nothing suggests the powers that be want war.

The pastor also prophesied the rise of another sexually transmitted disease. You would think that prophecy was fulfilled in Zika virus if you didn’t know the virus emerged at least a year before Adeboye’s prediction.

Year 2016 passed, and even lasted an extra second, and we all watched as Adeboye’s words fell to the ground.

With 2016 prophecies unfulfilled, Adeboye stood before his congregation on January 1, 2017, dishing out predictions for the New Year.

Here they are:

The focal word for the year 2017 is surprises

Nigeria

1. 2017 will be a year of surprises. But you need to understand that the same surprise may mean different things for the oppressor and the oppressed.

2. Those deliberately making life difficult for the common man will be relocated.

3. The downward plunge will slow down, it will stop and a reversal will begin.

Individuals

1. It will be a year of surprises for both true and false prophets.

2. There will be a large number of weddings.

3. Soul winners will see their prophecies fulfilled almost as soon as they are uttered .

International

1. There will be surprises for many world governments.

2. They are coming in twos; Monster earthquakes, monster floods, monster hurricanes and typhoons, monster tornadoes, monster fire outbreaks

Judging by how Adeboye’s prophecies fared last year, how reliable are these 2017 predictions? Perhaps we’d be surprised this time.
