WATCH: Fraud victim trace ‘Yahoo boy’ who defrauded her of N9m to Ghana

Operatives from the Criminal Investigation Department in Ghana have been criticised for the manhandling of some suspected internet fraudsters.
A supposed victim of the gang, Linda, had tracked the lead suspect she identified as Solomon Attah all the way from her native country to Ghana, along with another man.
Linda claimed Attah had defrauded her of about €20,000 (about N9 million) before he cut her off.
She notified police in the country and they all arrived at Attah’s residence much to his shock.
The suspect was rounded up by the operatives but their excessive use of force (severally slapping the suspects) has been condemned as an abuse again human rights.
