The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, made a major goof during his party’s rally in support of governorship aspirant Kayode Fayemi in Ekiti today.
Ngige, while attempting to urge the people of the state to vote for Fayemi next Saturday, mistakenly urged the crowd to vote for the incumbent governor, Ayodele Fayose.
“You must bring back Fayose on Saturday,” he told the crowd.
The election will be between Prof. Kolapo Olusola, Fayose’s deputy, and Dr. Kayode Fayemi, the ex-minister of mineral resources who is seeking to return to Ekiti as governor for the second time.
