Wall collapses, crushes teenager to death
A 17-year-old boy was killed after being crushed by a wall in Kagiso, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Police say the teenage boy and his friend were taking cover from a strong wind on one side of the wall.
“The wall allegedly collapsed and fell onto the two boys and the deceased was certified dead on the scene by the paramedics,” Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya said on Friday.
His friend, also 17, suffered injuries to the lower leg and ankle and is still in the hospital..
