Rosanwo: “Ex-wife broke bottle on my head, her mother slapped me 18 times” – man breaks opens up on domestic abuse
Social change advocate Rosanwo Babatunde has accused his former wife of domestic violence during their less than two years marriage.
Rosanwo, in an attempt to defend himself through a series of tweets on Tuesday, alleged that his ex-wife, along with her mother, subjected him to intense abuse while their marriage lasted.
The social commentator had previously been accused by his ex-wife, from whom he had been separated for a year, of subjecting her to domestic abuse.

Rosanwo said he was tired of keeping silent and covering a potentially life-ending abuse he suffered. His mother-in-law, one time, slapped him 18 times and his former wife once smashed a bottle on his head, he claimed.
“A marriage of verbal and physical abuse in the hands of in-laws then the spouse. About time I speak up for myself,” he tweeted.
“Over the last 20 months I have been through hell, at least I have the right to express what I endured. There are two sides to a coin.
“Ten days after our son was born, mother-in-law breaks mirror to stab spouse, stepped in, received 18 slaps and got a spine shift,” he continued.
Since their separation, Rosanwo alleged that he has been made to pay more than the required sum in child support for his son he shares with his ex-wife.
The social commentator further narrated how he contemplated suicide a few times as a result of his unsettled home.

“On one of those days of my physical abuse, I did have audio recordings in the house in case I did not make it. Someone would know how I died,” he said.
He also claimed that the UK police “has all records of attending to our home including cautions.”
Rosanwo accused his ex-wife of infidelity while they were married, an accusation which she countered by writing in a tweet: “Why is he concerned who enters my DM? Less than a year in marriage he not give me permission to sleep with other men? (sic) And not disturb him.”
Several concerned observers urged Rosanwo to deal with the issues away from the entertainment craving eye of the public, but others countered a case of social abuse should not be dismissed as unfit for public discourse.
The couple are still in court.
