Two appear before Lagos Magistrate court for theft of heavy duty generator belonging to airline

Two people have been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate Court, for allegedly stealing a Mikano generator engine and one pumping machine belonging to First Nation Airways.

The stolen items were valued at Three Million Seventy Thousand Naira (N3, 70, 0000.00).

Police prosecutor, B. Enuehi, told the court that Sule Agyo and Richard William committed the offence on December 13th, 2017 at Opebi in the Ikeja area of Lagos state.

He said the offence contravened and punishable under Section 287, 411 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos Nigeria, 2015.

The defendants pleaded not guilty to the two counts charge of stealing and conspiracy preferred against them.

B.O. Osunsanmi, presiding magistrate granted the defendant bail in the sum of N300, 000 with two sureties in like sum as she adjourned the case till April 19, 2018.
