Court remands two in prison for assaulting FRSC official

A magistrate court sitting in Surulere has remanded two persons in prison custody for allegedly assaulting an official of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC.
Nwandu Onyeka and Okechukwu faced a three count charge of conspiracy, assault and obstruction.
The duo pleaded not guilty to the charge and were granted bail in the sum of N50,000 and two sureties each.
They, however, could not meet the bail conditions.
Presiding Magistrate, Famobiwo A. A., then remanded them in prison custody and adjourned the case till July 18, 2016..
