Trigger-happy SARS operatives shoot two trailer drivers, motor boy in Ogun
Operatives of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) have allegedly shot two trailer drivers and a motor boy at Honda bus-stop after Obasanjo farms in Ogun state.
According to an eyewitness, two of the trailer boys were badly injured and have been rushed to the hospital, while the third victim got wounded on his right hand.
“A trailer parked to give fuel to another trailer which was low on fuel, SARS official crossed them and demanded for settlement,” the witness said.
“One thing led to another and they opened fire on the drivers.”
The witness added that the incident has led to a protest by locals and other truck drivers in the area.
He said, “I was in my car at first then I left and ran away but I came back to join the protest to prevent them from spoiling my car.”
