Tanker explosion roasts two, raze down buildings near governor’s lodge in Anambra
No fewer than two people are feared dead as a petrol tanker that lost control at Amawbia roundabout went up in flames beside the gorvernor’s lodge in Anambra.
The incident which occurred near the Fire Service office around 9.20 pm last night also destroyed at least ten vehicles and many shops in the area.
Police spokesperson in the state, Haruna Mohammed while confirming the unfortunate incident expressed sadness on the loss of lives and property.
This mishap will make it the second tanker explosion in Anambra within the past one week.
