Senate finally passes 2018 budget 6 months after

Six months after President Buhari presented a budget of N8.612trn to the National Assembly for passage, the 2018 budget has finally been passed by the lawmakers.

The lawmakers considered and adopted the budget at an extended plenary on Wednesday (today).

Delay in passage of the budget has been blamed for Federal Government’s inability to complete or execute several projects around the country.
