“We are responsible for Manchester Arena attack” – ISIS claims

The Islamic State group (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for the attack on Manchester Arena which has so far recorded 22 casualties.
AFP reports that the group said in a statement published on its social media channels that “one of the caliphate’s soldiers placed bombs among the crowds.”
The group threatened more attacks.
At least 22 concert goers, mostly young adults, died after a bomb went off at the Manchester Arena stadium late Monday night.
59 others were reported to have sustained varying degree of injuries in the attack.
The attacker died in the blast, but police had said they were still investigating if he was acting alone or belonged to a group of terrorists.
