It’s a record! 14 children from 14 husbands earn 36-year-old a world record
Anita Sullivan, 36, gave birth to her 14th child, Wednesday, at the Harper University Hospital. None of those fourteen kids share the same father.
Before then, another woman held the world record for conceiving children with 13 different men. Sullivan now has the record.
And she’s proud:
“I’m extremely proud to have broken a World Record. My mother always told me that I was lazy and worthless, and that I would never accomplish anything in my life. Now, I’ve shown everyone that she was wrong, and that I can even be the best in the world when I put my mind to something. In fact, I’ve just accomplished something that no one had done before!”
But she laments her discernment of men:
“I’m good at having babies, but I’m really awful when it comes to picking the fathers of my children,” says the young woman. “This time, however, I think I’ve learned from my past mistakes. Ramón isn’t like all the jerks I’ve dated before. We’ve been together for almost a year and a half, and I really believe it could work between us.”
We hope it works.
Meanwhile, she might be in line for another world record.
Representatives of Guinness have opened an investigation into the record for number of child support pensions received by one person.
Sullivan presently receives child support from 11 different men, and is in two other custody cases which will go before a family court in the coming weeks..
The children all seem to be too close in age for a mother to have had 13 different pregnancies before this one (since different fathers so no twins). Even if she had one child a year for 13 years (highly unlikely), the oldest and youngest child in the photo would be at least 12 years apart but that does not seem so from this photo. I do not think this story is real. If it is, then the photo is not of her children.
