Onnoghen: Senate cancels emergency plenary
The Senate will no longer reconvene as planned on Tuesday, it has said in statement.
Lawmakers had earlier planned to resume plenary in order to deliberate on President Muhammadu Buhari’s suspension of Justice Walter Onnoghen.
The date of resumption has been restored to February 19 – three days after the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
