Motorcycle thief claims he committed crime because of girlfriend’s needs
Police in Niger State have arrested an 18-year-old alleged motorcycle thief, Sharif Audu.
Audu reportedly told the police he committed the crime in order to raise enough money to take care of his girlfriend.
Northern City News reports that Audu, who stole the motorcycle from one Yakubu Ndanusa, said he had to please his girlfriend as he couldn’t share her with anybody.
“The desire to satisfy the needs of my girlfriend made me steal the motorcycle. I don’t want to say no to her and that is why I can do anything to make her happy, no matter what,” Audu is quoted as saying.
“I don’t want to share her with anybody and that is why I will go the extra mile to fulfil her needs. I don’t care what it may result to, my duty is to provide what she needs before any other thing, I love her so much,”
Police spokesperson in the state, Muhammad Abubakar, said the stolen motorcycle had been recovered and Audu will be charged to court after investigation.
