Man, 35, damages 5-year-old’s privates through forceful penetration in Benue
An alleged child rapist, Haruna Shuaibu, has been arrested in Makurdi, Benue State. Haruna, 35, allegedly raped a 5-year-old child.

Haruna, reports say, damaged the child’s privates in the process. She was reportedly treated at the hospital. The suspect has reportedly been dragged to the police station and will be charged for the crime.
The incident was the latest in a worrying increase in rate of child rape in the state. A 13-year-old girl, Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbanje, recently died from complications after she was severally raped by a lecturer and his son.
