Maina appeals to President Buhari, promises to recover N3 trillion within three months
The embattled former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms,Abdulrasheed Maina, who disappeared has spoken in hiding that if he was given a chance by President Buhari, he would reveal some secrets to President Buhari
According to him, there is a lot of rot in the system which indeed needs to be exposed and it would be to the advantage of the government if the president gives him a chance to explain things.
The fugitive made this position known from hiding that he was innocent of the allegations preferred against him and that his action now is not to prove his innocence but to prove that there is a leakage in the system which needs to be covered up and he knows it – It is in the interest of government to call him down and let him speak and show the government where these leakages are.
Maina also declared an interest to appear before the House of Reps and ad hoc committee probing his reinstatement into the civil service; he also alleged that most of the people around the President are insincere.
Maina claimed that he recovered a lump sum of N3 trillion for President Jonathan and the current administration; adding that if given a chance he would recover N3 trillion for President Buhari within three months
In a statement in a video that is currently going viral Maina said “Listen, I am not afraid of anybody. I am saying the truth, people portray themselves as if they are saints around the president, it’s a lie, they are not. We recovered as a team the sum of N282 billion cash and also caught 43 pension suspects
They have threatened me, they have threatened my lawyer, they have threatened my brother, sister; they have threatened us all that I will be killed.
“Mr President, I will give you information and documents that will fetch you over N3trillion now in Nigeria, give me nine months. Within the first three months, I will show you N1trillion just like I showed you N1trillion in this 2017.”
