Lagos swears-in newly elected local government chairmen; see full list
The newly elected local government chairmen in Lagos State were sworn-in at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja on Tuesday (today).
The ruling party, APC, had swept the polls that took place across all parts of the state on Saturday, July 22.
Many areas, however, recorded very low turnout, partly because of the rain and in some cases, because of total lack of interest in the polls by some Lagos residents.
Many have claimed they have little or no knowledge about their respective local governments’ representatives.
The names and localities of all elected chairmen have, however, been released to the public by the state government.
