Lagos: Suspected cultists clash in Shomolu leaving three dead on the street

Suspected cultists has allegedly killed a leader of Eiye cult group identified as Tunde Awokoya, 36, alias Chop-Up and two others at Somolu, Lagos.
According to reports, members of the Eiye and Aye cult groups had spoiled for war earlier on Tuesday but were dispersed by policemen, who got information about it.
The other two alleged cultists killed in the fracas include Gabriel, a barber and another unidentified person
It was gathered that the Aye cult members traced Awokoya “Chop-up”  to a beer-parlour on Abiodun Street in Somolu area and murdered him there.
In a reprisal attack, some of Chop-up’s members who were with him killed Gabriel who was at a barber’s shop.
All  the deceased bodies were allegedly left on the street until police officers arrived on the scene.
