Happening Now: Fire razes cars, houses in Abule Egba
A tanker has burst into flames at Oko Oba road by Tipper Garage, Abule Egba, this Wednesday morning.
The emergency team at the scene said the incident occurred during what appears to be bunkering activities, as the spilled oil was ignited.
Residents of the area say the fire started around 3am midnight.
“The fire started at around 3 this morning and people have been running for their lives since then,” one resident said.
“Only 2 fire trucks are attending to the fire. For a fire this big, just 2 trucks.”

Houses and cars have been burnt in the fire, LASEMA said.
There are no reports of any casualties, but rescue operation is still ongoing.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternative routes.
