Father, 36, impregnates teenage daughter, aborts pregnancy
The police in Lagos have detained one Michael Kennedy for impregnating his 13-year-old daughter and subsequently aborting the pregnancy.
Kennedy had, according to reports, been sleeping with the girl since 2013.
He, together with his wife who is the step-mother to the victim, resides in Mende, Maryland area of Lagos.
He was reported to the Anthony Division of the police after he reportedly had sex with the girl again on Friday, July 8.
Kennedy was arrested alongside his wife who admitted she knew about the development.
She said her husband said he wanted to test his ability.
The victim has reportedly been taken to the MIRABEL Center at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, while the case has been tranferred to the Gender Desk of the office of the Police Commissioner..
