One Abdul-Azeez Haruna, a 32-year-old man, has been arrested by officers of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly impersonating a military officer at Ifesowapo Community of Ijoko in Sango Otta.
Abdul-Azeez who had allegedly been terrorizing residents of Ijoko with the military uniform, was seen at about 2:00 pm, removing a television set from the house of a resident.
Members of the community became suspicious and held him hostage, and thereafter, sent a distress call to the police at Sango-Otta Division.
Haruna still insisted that he was an Army personnel, but had to debunk that claim when he sighted soldiers guarding the Otta Unit of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC).
