WATCH: Atiku’s “fake” phone call to late Lt Col Sakaba’s widow
Here’s a video of presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar claiming to be on a phone call with the widow of late Lt. Col. Ibrahim Sakaba on Sunday.
Atiku had said in a Tweet: “This Christmas I urge all Nigerians to spare a thought for our military on the frontlines of the war on terror.
“I had cause to telephone Lt. Col. Ibrahim Sakaba’s widow this Yuletide. I am touched by her devotion and love for her husband who paid the supreme sacrifice for Nigeria.”
Sakaba’s wife, Seun, has said today that she received no such call from Atiku.
She also dismissed assumptions that maybe Sakaba had another wife whom Atiku called instead.
Many Nigerians have lashed out at the PDP candidate for engaging in propaganda ahead of 2019 election.
