Peter Ofurum – In Memory Of Those Killed Illegally By The Nigerian Police

Peter Ofurum was a first class Accounting student of the University of Port Harcourt. He was allegedly shot dead on Monday April 11, 2016, by Police officers called in to disperse the students during a protest against the increase in their school fees.
The Rivers State Police Command denied shooting and killing Peter Ofurum. The Command’s Spokesman, Ahmad Muhammad, said the police only used ‘minimal force’ to contain the riotous students today.
