Two attendants, four others arrested for robbing fuel station in Lagos

Two staff of Skeptar Petrol Station, Daniel Freedom and Mike Charles, have been arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly masterminding a robbery attack at their workplace.

Both 20-year-old suspects worked as a supervisor and fuel attendant respectively at the petrol station located at Igbo-Elerin area of Ojo LGA, Lagos.

Police boss in Lagos, Edgal Imohimi, said the robbers attacked the fuel station on October 28.

“On receipt of the information, operatives from the Ilemba Hausa Police Station and FSARS Ikeja jointly mobilised to the scene,” Imohimi said.

“Unfortunately, before the team could arrive, the hoodlums, who sensed danger, had disappeared. However, later in the night, the robbers were arrested from where they were hiding and their arms, comprising two toy guns, three knives and one axe, were recovered.” he said.
