Chief Rotimi Akeredolu on Tuesday received his Certificate of Return as the next Ondo State governor at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Akure.
Some policemen protesting unpaid allowances for their role in the just concluded Ondo State election have reportedly taken law into their hands, harassing reporters and also residents who attempted to take photographs of the protest.

The forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo State appears to have claimed its first casualty as a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Mr Afolabi Olaposi, was killed by unknown gunmen on Thursday night in Owo.
