Despite United Nations’ warning, hoodlums, in a bid to orchestrate forceful eviction of the Egun Community from Otodo Gbame, reportedly launched another attack on Tuesday, setting fire to some remaining structures in the area.
The displacement of thousands of residents from Otodo Gbame, an Egun community in the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos by some irate Yoruba youths has attracted a probe by the United Nations.
Many have been left to lick their wounds as a result of a brutal clash between some Yoruba and Egun youths in Lekki, which has reportedly left well over 200 structures razed to the ground.
