Traders in Anambra were left to count their losses as fire engulfed Nnewi Timber Market in the Nnewi North Local Government Area of the state on Thursday.
It took the timely intervention of firefighters from the state Fire Service to contain the fire and stop it from spreading to the Nigerian Bottling Company depot’s office complex.
