Students, principals of Lagos state secondary school abducted by suspected militants in Epe

Some students and principals of Lagos State Model College, Igbo Nla, Epe, were reportedly abducted on Thursday morning (today) by unknown gunmen.
The attack was said to have occurred during the school’s morning assembly.
A principal of the junior school, Mr Oyesola, was reportedly whisked away by the gunmen, suspected to be militants.
Some students, along with the principal of the senior secondary school, Mr Akinrinmade, were also abducted.
The case was presented to the House of Representatives by Mr Wale Raji, an Epe representative, on Thursday.
Raji urged the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Fatai Owoseni, to swing into action to rescue the victims.
