Stranded motorists play football as police block highway because of one unhealthy man
After UK police were alerted to the welfare of a man on a busy expressway, authorities closed the roads and attended to him.
The incident happened near Maidstone in Kent on Sunday evening.
“Kent Police was called at 5.52pm on Sunday July 17 to reports of concern for the welfare of a man on a bridge near Hockers Lane,” a police spokesperson said.
“Officers attended and as a precaution both carriageways on the M20 between J7 and J8, as well as Hockers Lane were closed.
“The man was detained by officers and given to health professionals. The roads have now been reopened.”
While the roads remain closed, stranded motorists stepped on the hard ground and played football.
Others took off some clothing and sunbathed along the highway..
