Soldiers kill 6 Boko Haram terrorists, rescue 3 women in Borno

Military operatives killed six Boko Haram terrorists in Gawa and Boskoro villages of Mafa Local Government Area of Borno on Thursday, the Army has said.
Army’s spokesman Sani Usman said the terrorists’ hideout in the villages were destroyed and troops recovered three pieces of 36 hand grenade, four Dane guns, 26 round of the anti-aircraft ammunition, three gas cylinders and a set of bow and arrow.
Usman also said three women were rescued at Boskoro and were immediately handed over to Internally Displaced Persons camp officials at Dikwa.
He said troops were continuing in their efforts to flush out the insurgents from their various hideouts in the region.
