POPULAR CALABAR COMEDIAN OTWETWE MASTER ESCAPES DEATH

Popular calabar comedian and the “Alibaba” of Calabar comedians, Friday Awade, popularly known as Otwetwe master and Last prophet, survived a ghastly car crash that would have claimed his life.

The comedian who just had a baby boy, was returning from work in company of some of his aides, when a speeding Honda baby boy, rammed into them, thus making the comedian swerve. This however triggered his car to somersault 3 times, before landing upside down.

Luckily no life was lost, as they were all rushed to the hospital. This accident happened around the Calabar/Calabar round-about, 10th of may, around 8pm.

if You can recall, sometime last year, this comedian had an altercation with Iyanya which the phone conversation was recorded where inyanya threatened the artist.

 The artiste is an on-air-personality with Cross river state’s best urban contemporary radio station, HITfm. When contacted, the head of programmes, macdonald peter-anyangbe confirmed the incident, assuring the public of the safety of the comedian. However, the driver of the Honda sped off.
