Police reveal, parade officers who allegedly killed Kolade Johnson in Lagos

The police officers who fired the bullets that killed Kolade Johnson during a raid at Onipetesi area of Lagos on Sunday have been identified as Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan and Sergeant Godwin Orji.
Kolade was hit by a bullet while watching a televised football game in the area and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Lagos State Police Commissioner, Zubairu Muazu visited the family at their residence on Beco street, Onipetesi, Mangoro area of the state on Tuesday and revealed the identities of the officers.
Olalekan and Orji, according to police authorities, will go through internal disciplinary procedures.
The incident has sparked public outrage and calls for the SARS unit to be totally scrapped.
