#NigeriaDecides: How Nigerians voted for APC, PDP in 2019 presidential election

The 2019 presidential election has finally come to an end and the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari has been re-elected for a second term. He was declared winner after polling almost four million more votes against his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar.

Beyond the reported flashes of violence and irregularities in some polling units across the country, the Independent National Electoral Commission has endorsed the outcome of the election and President Buhari has been officially validated as he receives his certificate of return today.

Neusroom takes a closer look at how Nigerians voted for the two leading political parties, APC and PDP in various states to achieve the declared result.
