Man allegedly shoots wife, two sons dead over infidelity claims in Edo
A man reportedly shot his wife and two sons dead in Ovbiogie area of Edo State on Sunday.
Reports say the suspect, identified only as Uwaila, committed the crime because he suspected his wife indulged in extramarital affairs.
An enraged Uwaila, 35, was said to have shot through the door after his terrified wife and children had ran into a room and locked themselves in.
Police were reportedly able to apprehend the suspect.
He reportedly claimed that his wife accused him of frolicking with many girlfriends and had threatened to do same with other men.
Uwaila reportedly said he drove out of the house in anger following the disagreement. But he returned to see that she had locked herself and the children in a room.
He allegedly proceeded to fire the shots that hit them on the bed.
