Man allegedly hacks wife to death over adultery in Niger
Bello Muhe, a 25-year-old, has been arrested for allegedly hacking his wife, Husse Ali, to death over adultery.
Muhe was reportedly angered by his wife’s continuous involvement in the act at her parents’ home. He claimed he had sent her home to her parents for same offence.
“I used machete to kill her for refusing to adhere to my instruction,” he is quoted as saying.
“I told her to desist from sleeping around with other men but she disobeyed. She was stubborn, I sat her down and told her the implications of what she was doing, she ignored me and she had to pay the price.”
