LASG closes Third Mainland Bridge August 23

The Lagos State Government has announced the closure of the 3rd Mainland Bridge for four days starting August 23.

The closure of the bridge will begin from midnight of August 23 to midnight of August 26, 2018 in order to carry out Investigative Maintenance Test, the government has said.

“The four-day closure will enable the contractors assess the true state of the bridge after which works would commence by the end of the year or early in 2019,” LASG said Sunday night.

“We are appealing for the support and understanding of all motorists and residents to minimize non-essential travel and movements during the four-day closure.
