Is #SaveMayowa a scam?

The #SaveMayowa campaign which raised over N32 million naira for Ahmed Mayowa, a cancer patient, might just be a scam, reports say.
Latest reports are suggesting the family knew Mayowa had little chances of surviving the Ovarian cancer having reached stage four of the disease.
Doctors at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, where she is admitted had reportedly told the family to take the patient home while they wait for her to pass.
The report also suggests that celebrity actress, Toyin Aimakhu, who spearheaded the fundraising, is at the hospital with police officers.
Mayowa’s family home has also been reportedly shut down.
