IDP arrested for throwing newborn baby into latrine in Borno

An Internally Displaced Person has been arrested for allegedly throwing her newborn into a pit latrine at the Bakassi IDP’s camp in Maiduguri, Borno State, resulting into the death of the baby.

The incident occurred yesterday. She was apprehended by a Civilian JTF officer who was observing her moves.
