“I wasn’t trying to kill her, I only wanted sex” – Man rapes girl, 8, in Nassarawa
A 40-year-old man, Daniel Tahan-Gafera has denied that he attempted to strangle an eight-year-old girl whom he allegedly raped.
Tahan-Gafera was said to have defiled the little girl in the Kurikyo area of the Lafia Local Government Area of Nassarawa State.
While being paraded by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC on Tuesday, he confessed he had the carnal knowledge of the girl.
The NSCDC Commander, Muhammud Gidado-Fari in Lafia, said his men caught Tahan-Gafera while trying to kill his victim.
Tahan-Gafera, however, denied he attempted to kill his victim.
“I had no intention of killing the girl, I only wanted to have sex with her,” he claimed.
