Many Outraged As Man Posing As Pastor Rapes Follower In Enugu

Many people are outraged over the alleged rape of a young woman by her presumed pastor in Enugu. It was gathered that Pastor Sunday Egbo of Christ Mercy Ministry had invited the victim for prayers at the church, but when she arrived, he took her to his house where he eventually tore her clothes and raped her.

The victim narrates that the pastor had dragged her to his room and threatened to kill her with a magic stone if she raised any alarm. She was able to alert the neighbours by running naked to the door after she could no longer endure the assault.

The matter was reported to the Police and he was subsequently arrested. He confessed to committing the crime while he was being paraded at the Police Headquarters on Tuesday. He has not yet been charged to court.
